DESCRIPTION: CHOQUEQUIRAO TREK 4D – 3N

Choquequirao Wasi Camp offers an expedition to a remote Inca site, focused on personal challenge and adventure. A full day is dedicated to exploring Choquequirao, while local communities provide food and accommodation, supporting their economy.

The program begins with an early departure on Day 1 to reach Marampata. Day 2 is devoted to visiting Choquequirao. On Day 3, you return to Capuliyoc to rest in cabins, and Day 4 concludes with the return to your city of origin.

Itinerary

DAY 1:

Cusco – Cachora – Capuliyoc – Chiquisca (cabins)

Early departure from Cusco in tourist transport to Cachora and Capuliyoc, the starting point of the Choquequirao trek. In Capuliyoc, you will enjoy breakfast with views of the Apurímac Canyon, ideal to begin this adventure in Peru.

We begin the hike descending to Chiquisca, a warm oasis surrounded by nature, where lunch is served. In the afternoon, you can relax in comfortable cabins in Chiquisca, enjoying the peaceful environment.

After breakfast, we descend to Playa Rosalina, where we cross the Apurímac River. Then we begin a challenging ascent to Santa Rosa, continuing up to Marampata.

This point is a spectacular viewpoint with direct views of Choquequirao, one of the most impressive trekking destinations in Peru. Upon arrival, you will enjoy lunch and dinner, as well as rest in cabins with views of Choquequirao.

After breakfast, we hike to the Choquequirao archaeological complex, considered the “sacred sister of Machu Picchu” and a jewel of tourism in Cusco.

During the guided visit, you will explore Inca terraces, temples, ceremonial plazas, and the famous llama terraces, enjoying a unique Choquequirao trekking experience.

Return to Marampata, where you will have lunch, relax in your cabins, and enjoy a comforting dinner.
